Dr. Steve Darnell

On August 17, 2008 Dr Darnell officially began service as the State Administrative Bishop for the Church of God in California and Nevada. Steve and Janice Darnell arrive to serve the Church of God in California and Nevada from an extensive and fruitful ministry journey.  Married on May 14, 1977 in Gastonia, North Carolina the Darnell family quickly entered a path following God’s direction taking them throughout the United States and around the world communicating the message of Jesus Christ to people through the power of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Darnell is a noted Camp Meeting Evangelist and Bible Teacher, Evangelist, Pastor and church leader. Janice’s tremendous qualities as wife, mother, spiritual leader, and co-laborer in ministry alongside her husband Steve have and continue to shine.

The Darnell’s have 3 adult sons Paul, A.V., and Parker. Dr. Darnell completed the Associate of Arts degree in Religious Education from William Carter College, The Bachelor of Arts degree from William Carter College, a Master of Theology degree from International Bible Seminary, and the Doctor of Bible and Theology from International Bible Seminary. The Darnell’s pastored the Hallsboro Church of God, Oakland Park Church of God, LaGrange Church of God, and the Kenly Church of God in North Carolina. Dr. Darnell served as a National Evangelist from 1989-1991. The Darnell’s served in the roles of State Youth and Christian Education Director and State Girls Club’s Coordinator in Arizona, Southern New England, Mississippi, Texas, and Eastern North Carolina from 1991-2004. In August of 2004 Dr. Darnell was appointed to serve as State Administrative Bishop of Western Canada. Additionally Dr. Darnell and Janice have received numerous awards and recognition for their service.




Kevin Wallace

As Senior Pastor of Redemption Point Church, Bishop Kevin Wallace is challenging long-held notions of "church as usual".  With a Christ-centered mandate that crosses generational, racial and socio-economic barriers, Pastor Kevin is leading a generation in a pursuit of Christ-likeness and authentic spiritual awakening.  His passionate and unique style of ministry blends relevant application of Bible truth with a powerful anointing for deliverance and breakthrough.  With a vision to pastor the most loving church in America, Kevin is guided by a compassion for the lost, the marginalized, and the broken.  His Gospel message of hope and healing resonate with a generation hurting and disappointed by the setbacks of life.  Under the care of Pastor Wallace, Redemption Point Church has grown from 34 attendees in its first meeting to over 700 in just six years.   Despite the explosion in growth that has occurred, Pastors Kevin maintains that his greatest honor and responsibility in life is to enjoy time with his wife Deven and their 4 children:  Jeremiah, Isaiah, Zion and Judah.  They reside in Ooltewah, Tennessee.
