THE ARK CHURCH OF GOD MISSION ORGANIZED
On January 15, 2012, Bishop Dennis & Judy Page conducted a special service with Pastor Robert & Rose Beal and the congregation of The ARK Church of God Mission to organize the church with 18 charter members. It was a great time of celebration for Pastor Beal and his congregation.
In 2007, Pastor Beal and his wife Rose, realized the vision that God had given them to minister to the homeless and economically challenged in the inner city of Manchester, New Hampshire. They decided to plant The ARK Church of God. They started in a storefront building having worship on Sundays and distributing food and clothing to the needy throughout the week. Also, they prepared meals and conducted large food drives during special times of the year. Recently, the church needed more space and moved to a larger facility to conduct worship on Sunday and Wednesday and to operate a food bank during the week. The Northern New England Regional Staff have been working with Pastor Beal over the past year to organize the church to prepare the church for a greater outreach. Congratulations to Pastor Bob & Rose Beal and the congregation of The ARK Church of God.

MINISTER'S CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
The annual NNE Minister's Christmas Celebration was held at the beautiful Harreseeket Inn in Freeport, Maine on December 3, 2011. It was a wonderful time of fun, fellowship, great entertainment and delicious food. Amost 90 ministers and spouses from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont gathered for the celebration. David and Amy Nitz provided another year of great music, entertainment and Christmas worship. Bishop Dennis & Judy Page concluded the gathering with a scriptural challenge and Christmas greeting to all the wonderful ministerial couples of Northern New England. We are already looking forward to next year's celebration on December 1, 2012.

NNE Ministerial Development Board Conducts Examination Day for Church of God Credentials
On Saturday, February 12th, five individuals meet with the Ministerial Development Board to take the exam for Church of God Credentials. The following individuals successfully were approved for licensure:

Marius Thete
Forester (Todd) Sprague
Ordained Minister
Joe DiPaolo
Jody Patterson
Bill Smith
Congratulations to these individuals for successfully completing the requirements of study and receiving this level of Church of God Credentials.

Regional Pastoral Covenant Groups Begin This Fall
The Northern New England Region started two new Regional Pastoral Covenant Groups in Fall 2011. These groups are scheduled to continue until Spring 2012. Dr. Randy Turpin, NNE PCG Coordinator, announces that the following individuals will be PCG Facilitators for the 2011 - 2012 Session:
Maine North & Central Region - Facilitator: Kevin McAllister
New Hampshire Region - Facilitator: Art Fairbrother
The Regional Covenant Groups are up and running successfully. This is a very important support group for pastors that provides training, shared ideas, resources, fellowship, prayer, and spiritual inspiration.

Harvest of Praise COG Reaching Community
The Harvest of Praise Church of God in Rochester, NH conducted a "Movie Night Event" for their community. Pastor Laren Whaley reports that 93 attended the showing of the movie "Courageous". Over 30 attended the pre-movie dinner on Saturday night. "This is the largest attendance we have ever had for a movie event." Pastor Whaley stated. The Harvest of Praise Church conducts several "Movie Night Events" throughout the year to help reach the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
